How to Submit a Nomination for Our Annual Hawai’i ‘Ohana Camping Contribution
To nominate a deserving family (Must be Big Island Residents) for our annual gift, please follow these steps:
- Email the Hawai'i Kine Camping team at HawaiiKineCamping@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line "Nomination" to ensure your submission is received properly.
- In the email, include a letter explaining why you believe the nominated family would benefit from a weekend getaway. Feel free to share any relevant details about their situation and their contact information.

The Hawai'i Kine Camping Team is dedicated to offering a memorable annual getaway, providing three days and two nights of camping for a local family (Big Island Residents) at one of our beautiful beach parks.
Our Hawai'i 'Ohana Camping Contribution provides a comprehensive camping experience for families of up to 8. This package includes:
- Starter Package and Additional Tent, each accommodating two luxury queen-size mattresses
- Two pop-up canopies with attachable tarps for wind and rain protection
- Kitchen essentials, including tables, chairs (varies), a cooler, a two-burner propane grill w/propane, cooking utensils, etc...
- Double beach blanket
- Giant Umbrella and Chairs
- Four boogie boards and four snorkel and mask sets
- Giant Games Bundle
- Glow Stick Party Pack
- A gift basket with items from partnering local businesses (contents may vary)
This all-inclusive package is designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience for the whole family.
